Mix 01 - THE MUSIC IS ALL OVER THE PLACE by AllOverSF
We’re about to pop off at the Showdown in less than two weeks, but no one — well, maybe a few — have heard us mix, spin, manipulate the music at the clubs. When describing the music of (It’s) All Over to strangers and friends, we usually begin with the a succinct reply: randomz. But, really, the music is premeditated based on the BPM of the track, so it ain’t really that random.
In an attempt to describe our music, we’ve taken the liberty of mixing a live set of what you can expect from (It’s) All Over. Spanning just over 30 mins, the music includes such club bangers as Montell Jordan, Toro Y Moi, Feist, Janet Jackson, and the indelible Wacka Flocka Flame.
Carry on.

Our first party is set for October 27, 2011 at the Showdown, a bar on 6th street formerly known as the Arrow Bar and the Matador. On Oct 27, between the hours from 10pm to 2am, the Showdown will be home to All Over, a monthly party whose moniker describes its setlist: music encompassing a wide, wide range of genres. Punk, indie, EDM, rock, freestyle, hip hop, top 40, 90s, 80s — whatever sounds good, really. And whatever is singable on the dance floor. Our music is, uh, all over the place.
Need an example? Think Janet Jackson’s Escapade, Kreayshawn’s Gucci Gucci, Ramones’s Blitzkrieg Bop, Fugazi’s Waiting Room, the Smiths’ This Charming Man, Yelle’s Je Veux Te Voir, Maroon 5’s Moves like Jagger, Ghost Town DJs’ My Boo, Miss Kitten’s Frank Sinatra, Le Tigre’s Deceptacon, Pulp’s Disco 2000, The Clash’s London Calling, Toro Y Moi’s Still Sound, Sleigh Bell’s Rill Rill, Waka Flocka Flame’s No Hands
And, oh, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream. (YEAH WUT.)
